Who is SparkyCert for?
Licensed electrical contractors and supervisor licence holders in New South Wales who need to lodge Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEWs) with the NSW eCert system.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every new account gets a one-time free period: 7 days of unlimited lodgements, plus up to 5 free lodgements within your first 30 days. No payment details required to start. After that, a subscription (billed from purchase) or a promo code is needed to lodge.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Fill in the cert on site with no signal — it saves as a draft. When you're back online, open the app and tap submit. No data is lost.
What's the difference between Individual and Business?
Individual ($9.99/month) is for sole traders and supervisor licence holders lodging their own certs. Business plans are for teams and come in three tiers: Starter ($24.99/month, up to 5 members), Pro ($49.99/month, up to 15 members), and Enterprise ($89.99/month, unlimited members). All business plans include a web dashboard and combined certificate history.
How do subscriptions work?
It depends where you subscribed. Bought in the iPhone app? Apple manages it — cancel from your phone's subscription settings. Subscribed on the web dashboard? That is billed by card through our payment provider, and there is no self-service cancel button for it — email support@sparkycert.com.au and we'll cancel it, usually within one business day. Apple cannot cancel a web subscription. SparkyCert never stores your payment details whichever way you buy.
Is lodgement to eCert live?
Yes. The Building Commission NSW eCert system opened to licensed electricians on 1 July 2026, and SparkyCert has been connected to the live production eCert API since July 2026. Fill in the cert, hit submit, and it goes straight to Building Commission NSW — they confirm acceptance separately by email, as they do for every lodgement channel.
Is there an Android version?
It is built and submitted — the Android app is with Google for review and publishes automatically the day they approve it. There is no firm date, because Google does not give one. Leave your email on this page and we will tell you the morning it lands.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month at the price shown until cancelled. Bought in the app? Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings on iPhone. Subscribed on the web dashboard? That is billed by card through our payment provider — email support@sparkycert.com.au and we will cancel it for you, as there is no self-service cancel button for web subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
